Sentry Tournament of Champions a family affair

By Staff | Dec 27, 2018

KAPALUA – With just a week left until the first tee shots are hit at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, our team wants to extend a heartfelt mahalo to everyone that makes the event possible. From our volunteer team led by Chairman Ed Hogan, to the Kapalua Golf Staff, to our vendors and charitable partners, it quickly becomes clear that this event is a team effort, and it feels like a big family.

With the concerted effort of all these groups and more, we can’t wait for you and your family to come experience everything the Sentry Tournament has to offer.

Whether you are a die-hard golf fan or not, the tournament is a great place to spend a day – The Plantation Course offers a setting that is unmatched, and sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the view, looking out towards Molokai and Honolua Bay.

But when you aren’t looking for a breaching whale, you are just a few feet from the world’s best golfers. The beauty of golf is that with a grounds ticket, you can be steps away from the stars of the game.

And even more beautiful? Kids 18 and under get in free to the tournament with a ticketed adult (up to three kids per adult), making the event an extremely cost-effective way to take in a world-class professional sporting event on Maui. We are also proud of a great program to help with free tickets for military members and their dependents – for information on that program and all of our tickets, visit www.SentryTournamentofChampions.com.

Next week, we get the privilege of hosting another unforgettable Sentry Tournament of Champions, and thanks to the wonderful family that helps us stage the event, we are more excited than ever.
