County of Maui Disaster Area Restrictions lifted for new zones

WAILUKU — County of Maui Disaster Area Restrictions have been lifted for Zones 1D, 5G, 10F, 14E, 15B and 15C beginning Monday, Nov. 13.

Zones 1D, 10F, 14E, 15B, and 15C are rural land.

Zone 5G is a residential area: E. Kuu Aku Lane.

Re-entry will only be allowed in areas of Zone 5G not affected by the fire. Supported re-entry for residents in fire-affected units is expected to be held next week.

ACCESS: IDs will be required to enter Zone 5G (only units not affected by the fire). The property manager will confirm ID of property owners at the entry point.

One of three County of Maui Emergency Management Agency’s Re-Entry Vehicle Pass locations will temporarily move this week.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 14 through 16, 2023, Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement’s Kākoʻo Maui Relief and Aid Services office, which distributes county re-entry vehicle passes, will move from Maui Mall Village to Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

While at the MACC, the Kākoʻo Maui office has hours of 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will resume normal hours, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and return to its Maui Mall location on Friday, Nov. 17.

The other two re-entry vehicle pass locations, Lahaina Civic Center and the county’s Kalana O Maui building lobby, continue normal hours.
