It’s a joint effort between the State of Hawai’i, County of Maui, County of Kaua’i, County of Hawai’i, City and County of Honolulu and community organizations like the chamber.

The effort includes a series of events and programs that will support Maui’s people and economic recovery. Events will highlight Maui businesses and their products and services to help bolster sales and opportunities for these local vendors.

According to the program’s website, “Kokua for Maui – Shop & Show Aloha is an effort dedicated to uplifting Maui’s people and businesses while boosting the economy impacted by the devastating wildfires. In Hawaiʻi, we value showing aloha to one another.

“Together with the County of Maui, the State of Hawaiʻi, City and County of Honolulu, County of Hawaiʻi, County of Kauaʻi, and community partners have formed this collective to kokua our Maui ʻohana. Maui businesses continue to persevere through this challenging time. This effort promotes events and programs focused on supporting the people of Maui and its economic recovery.

“Across Hawaiʻi and around the world, let’s kokua and show aloha to Maui as we move forward together.”
