On Sunday, July 30, the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset will collect supplies and funds for students of Princess Nahi’ena’ena Elementary and Hana Elementary School.
According to Lahaina Sunset Rotary Club President Kelsey Briggs, “This is the 16th consecutive year the Rotary Club has sponsored a school supply drive on Maui, and it will not be the last. Members of the Rotary Clubs of West Maui are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in need. We are grateful for the support of the management of the Lahaina Cannery Mall to allow our clubs to host these two days of collections for our keiki. We are also grateful to AAAAA Rent-A-Space Lahaina for providing a tent and shade.”
These School Supplies Drives are part of the many community service projects sponsored by the Rotary Clubs on Maui.
Rotary is a leadership organization made up of local business, professional and civic leaders. The club members meet regularly, form friendships and provide services for the local area community.
