LAHAINA — Republican gubernatorial candidate BJ Penn will visit Lahaina today, Friday, Aug. 5.

A sign waving event is slated in front of Lahaina Cannery Mall from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Next, a meet and greet event is scheduled at Lahaina Crossfit, 48 Ulupono St., at 6 p.m. Food and drinks will be provided, and merchandise will be available onsite.
