Paltin to discuss West Maui issues at Feb. 15 Rotary meeting

County Councilwoman Tamara Paltin will discuss the newly passed West Maui Community Plan, West Maui District Office and upcoming budget process.

WEST MAUI — Tamara Paltin will cover county issues that affect West Maui as the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb 15. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.

Paltin is a wife, mother of two and former Ocean Safety Lieutenant residing in the Napili area and representing the West Maui residency seat on the Maui County Council.

She chairs the council’s Planning and Sustainable Land Use Committee and serves as vice-chair of the Budget, Finance and Economic Development Committee.

She is a voting member on all council committees.

Paltin also serves with the Maui Metropolitan Planning Organization and as an alternate member for Maui’s representation on the Hawaii State Association of Counties.
