Rotary Club of Lahaina donates $650 to Sacred Hearts School

Rotary Club of Lahaina President Joe Park presents the $650 cash donation to Sacred Hearts School Principal Tonata Lolesio.
LAHAINA – Sacred Hearts School recently received a $650 cash donation from the Rotary Club of Lahaina. This award was presented by Joe Park, club president, to Tonata Lolesio, Sacred Hearts School’s newly appointed principal.
Lolesio graduated from Lahainaluna High School in 1994, receiving a Rotary Club of Lahaina/Lahaina Rotary Youth Foundation Scholarship.
She is highly qualified with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Minor in Speech received from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
She has been the second grade teacher at Sacred Hearts for 18 years and now continues as principal.
Sacred Hearts School was founded in 1862 and has continued to serve West Side families for 158 years.
“I know that SHS will overcome the obstacles and challenges of this pandemic… as principal of Sacred Hearts School, I believe that we have been prudent and diligent in preparing our faculty, staff, students and families in returning to our school,” said Principal Lolesio.
