WMTA meeting moved to May 14
LAHAINA – The West Maui Taxpayers Association last week announced that its community meeting scheduled for April 6 has been postponed until May 14.
WMTA continues to advocate for emergency planning for the isolated West Side community, with elevated concerns prompted by threats associated with the Coronavirus.
The event will feature speaker Dr. Dennis Terpin, an expert in emergency planning.
WMTA has invited other experts, as well as Mayor Michael Victorino.
The meeting is now scheduled for 5 p.m. on May 14 at the West Maui Kaunoa Senior Center.
For more information, contact Dr. Terpin via www.Safety1hawaii.com.
This WMTA community event is free of charge and open to all.
More information can be found at www.westmaui.org, or contact West Maui Taxpayers Association President, Joseph D. Pluta at 661-7990 or wmta@maui.net.
