LHS holding mandatory meetings for senior and junior students and their parents/guardians

LAHAINA – Lahainaluna High School is hosting two informational meetings for senior parents and guardians for students who will be graduating with the Class of 2020.

Attendance at one of the two scheduled meetings is mandatory.

The first senior meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 6:30 p.m., and the second meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m.

Both meetings will be held at Lahainaluna’s Hale Pa’ina (cafe).

Topics for the senior meeting will include academic requirements for graduation, the required Senior Contract and Commencement Ceremony procedures.

Additionally, two informational meetings for junior parents and guardians will be held.

The first opportunity is Sunday, Feb. 23, at noon, and the second is Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6:30 p.m.

Both meetings will be held at Hale Pa’ina (cafe).

Attendance at one of the two scheduled meetings is mandatory.

On the agenda for the junior meeting will be the 2021 Senior Project, volunteering at 2020 Graduation and PTSA Project Graduation

Boarder students – parents and guardians residing on Maui need to attend one of the meetings on campus.

Those not on-island need to contact Ilima Greig-Hong for your senior and Jeri Dean for your junior and schedule a separate meeting by March 8.
