Students learned sailing terminology, theory and several of the most common knots used by sailors.
Lahaina Yacht Club would like to thank the more than 20 volunteers who helped with the launching and retrieving of boats over the six weeks of the program.
Special thanks to the Maui Boat and Yacht Club and to the Lahaina Complex After School Tutor Project, both of which provided scholarships for several students.?
Lahaina Yacht Club also runs several advanced racing clinics for students who wish to become more proficient in small boat sailing and racing.
