Maui Huliau Foundation was founded in 2010 and runs five environmental education programs for students in grades 7-12 from all schools on Maui.
These programs include the award-winning Huliau Environmental Filmmaking Club, the alumni-led Huliau Eco-Adventure summer camp, the Huliau Outdoor Leadership Council, the Huliau Climate Literacy Project and Huliau Green Events.
Through this organization’s unique hands-on programs, it seeks to educate and empower Maui 12- to 18-year-olds to become future stewards of our natural environment.
Cahill will share information about these programs.
The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset is providing funds to support a number of these programs in 2019-20.
