By Staff | Jul 25, 2019

LAHAINA – Lahaina Intermediate School will have a SURF (schedules, uniforms, registration, fees) Day on Thursday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The purpose of this day is to register NEW students. If your child attended King Kamehameha III School, Princess Nahi’ena’ena School or Lahaina Intermediate School last school year, your child is already pre-registered. All others are considered NEW students.

This day is also set aside to collect student fees, purchase school uniforms and pick up class schedules for pre-registered students.

LIS will be collecting CASH payments for students’ meal accounts. Bus applications and payments will also be taken. All student bus riders must have a prepaid bus pass in order to ride the school bus starting Aug. 5.

Mandatory student fees are Student Government Fees ($10) and Class Dues ($5). Students can also pre-pay for the yearbook for $25. Uniform prices are $8 for the blue or white T-shirts.

If you are unable to attend on this day, you may come to the school office from July 29 to Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to pay for student fees and uniforms. Ongoing registration for all new students will continue in the Registrar’s Office.

Also, if your child will be in the seventh grade, he/she is required to have a physical.

As a reminder, the first school day for students is 7:45 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5.
