LAHAINA – The West Maui Community Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) will hold its first meeting on Thursday, July 25, kicking off the next phase of the West Maui Community Plan update.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Lahainaluna High School cafeteria.

Committee members will be briefed on the community planning process and Draft West Maui Community Plan.

They will also adopt administrative rules and elect a chair and vice chair. The agenda will be posted the week prior to the meeting.

All Community Plan Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public.

A portion of the meeting will be set aside for those wanting to provide testimony regarding specific agenda items.

The Draft West Maui Community Plan is available on the County of Maui Planning Department’s We Are Maui website at www.wearemaui.org.
