Hua Momoma Farm grows microgreens in a 4,000-square-foot greenhouse.

KAANAPALI – A representative from Hua Momona Farms will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset on Tuesday July 2.

The meeting will be held at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

A representative will share the history and the background of this unique West Maui farm that features 30 varieties of greenhouse-grown microgreens.

The speaker will talk about how owner Gary Grube had a “revelation” to start this unique farming endeavor in West Maui.

Clearing 25 acres of trees and then framing and building a 4,000-square-foot greenhouse will be explained in the presentation. Samples of the farm’s microgreens will be offered to the meeting attendees.
