Mike Rembis will discuss Maui Health System, the Kaiser Permanente Hawaii entity that took over operation of three state-owned hospitals in Maui County.

KAANAPALI – Mike Rembis will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset on Tuesday, May 21, at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Rembis will give updates on Maui Health System, the Kaiser Permanente Hawaii entity that took over operation of three state-owned hospitals in Maui County.

He will share information about healthcare in Maui County, including physician recruitment, renovations and recent national awards that Maui Memorial Medical Center has received.

Rembis comes to Maui from Paladin Healthcare Management, where he was CEO, and Avanti Hospitals, where was also CEO and provided leadership for Memorial Hospital of Gardena, Community Hospital of Huntington Park, Coast Plaza Hospital and East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital.
