Na Kamehameha Commemorative Pa‘u Parade winners honored

Featuring a ten-foot-tall cascading waterfall, Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s float in the 2018 Na Kamehameha Commemorative Pa‘u Parade honored Na Ali‘i Wahine and the life-giving Waters of Kane.
LAHAINA – On Saturday, June 16, Lahaina celebrated King Kamehameha I with its annual parade along Front Street.
The 2018 theme is “Ola ke aloha no na ali’i The love for our ali’i lives on.”
In commemoration of the 100th anniversaries of the Hawaiian Civic Club of Honolulu and Hale O Na Ali’i, the Lahaina Hawaiian Civic Club honored the Honolulu organization.
Hale O Na Ali’i brought members from Molokai and Kauai to join in the celebration.
