Toast to Maui to benefit local youth and Hospice Maui
LAHAINA – The Lahaina Yacht Club Foundation and LYC Boomvangers will hold their second annual Toast to Maui on Friday, Feb. 9. This live and silent auction benefitting Hospice Maui, plus local youth collegiate scholarships and Junior Sailing scholarships, will begin at 5 p.m. at Lahaina Yacht Club.
Reservations for yacht club members and their guests are required for this very special fundraising event that will include pupus, a champagne tasting and wonderful auction items.
Much like last year, the event will begin with registration ($35 per person) and assignment of bidding paddles.
Next, while sipping champagne, tour the many silent auction items on display upstairs to plan your strategy for bidding.
Slip back downstairs to enjoy pupus carefully planned for the evening and fill your champagne glass with a new variety. Next, grab a chair or table for your group at the open seating for the live auction featuring items from local artisans, memorabilia and more.
Due to the generosity of Maui neighbors and businesses, LYC was able to raise over $20,000 last year to share with local youth and Hospice Maui.
To make reservations, or to donate an item or service to the fun-filled event this year, contact Lahaina Yacht Club at 667-6211 for more information, or find LYC on Facebook to make reservations.
Donated items are completely tax-deductible, as the LYC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
