Applications available to seek waiver for LHS dress code policy
LAHAINA – Lahainaluna High School implemented a uniform T-shirt/dress code policy back in the 2015-16 school year.
Should any family wish to apply for a waiver to the uniform policy, applications may be obtained from the Lahainaluna High School Main Office through June 26.
Waiver applications will be due to the office by June 30, 2017, before 4 p.m.
Only one waiver application will be signed out to each student or legal guardian.
Submitted applications will be reviewed, and if the application is complete, a representative from the School Community Council (SCC) will contact the legal parent/guardian to set up an appointment to meet with the SCC members during a special session to address the council as to why a waiver is being requested.
Special SCC sessions will be scheduled and held before the start of the 2017-18 school year.
