Scholarships for Lahainaluna High School seniors and alumni are available from Lahaina Restoration Foundation
LAHAINA – Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s Scholarship Committee last week announced that a total of $35,000 in scholarships are available to Lahainaluna High School seniors and alumni for the 2017-18 school year.
Ten scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each and one scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to qualifying seniors who will graduate from Lahainaluna High School in 2017. Scholarship eligibility requirements include being accepted into an accredited two- or four-year college, trade school or university, and writing an essay.
Additionally, five scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each and one scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to currently enrolled full-time college, trade school or university students in 2017. Eligibility for these scholarships includes being an alumnus of Lahainaluna High School and writing an essay.
Completed applications must be sent by e-mail to the Lahaina Restoration Foundation office no later than 11:59 p.m. on March 17, 2017. Scholarship applications may be downloaded from the website, LahainaRestoration .org/guidelines.
