LAHAINA – Lahaina Canoe Club announced that its general meeting for the 2017 paddling season will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Lahaina Canoe Club hale at Hanakao’o Beach Park (Canoe Beach).

The current board is looking to fill executive and board positions; anyone interested is welcome.

There will be discussion on the current position of the club and what the future looks like. There will be an open forum for the community to express thoughts or concerns with regard to West Maui’s oldest paddling institutions.
