Ambre of the Maui Farm to speak at Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset meeting
LAHAINA – On Tuesday, Dec. 6, Paula Ambre, the executive director of the Maui Farm, will speak at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s evening meeting.
Ambre, who has served as the farm’s executive director for 24 years, will speak about the nonprofit organization’s history in the community and the agency’s farm-based, family-centered residential programs, which serve homeless families in transition to self-sufficiency.
She will also discuss the programs that the two-acre educational farm offers to the Maui community.
The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset’s community speaker series takes place during club meetings, which are held on the first, third and fifth Tuesday of the month at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant, Royal Lahaina Resort, Kaanapali.
Meetings are from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a half-hour of social time starting at 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
