LahainaTown Action Committee Golf Classic supports Lahaina Junior Golf
LAHAINA – LahainaTown Action Committee invites golfers to play in its fourth annual Golf Classic on Saturday, May 7, at the Kaanapali Kai Golf Course in West Maui. Golfers who participate will have the satisfaction of helping a charitable organization, with a portion of the tournament proceeds benefitting Lahaina Junior Golf.
The festivities will kick off at 8 a.m. with a four golfer scramble shotgun start. Registration starts at 7 a.m. with a fee of $150.
The entry fee includes the greens fee for 18 holes of golf on the beautiful Kaanapali Royal Golf Course, use of a golf cart and awards luncheon. The luncheon from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Roy’s will feature an awards ceremony and live auction.
Entrants will compete for a spectacular perpetual trophy carved by talented woodworking artist Paul Kasprzycki.
LahainaTown Action Committee President Sne Patel said, “This is a unique golf classic with many merchants contributing to the fun. Ono grinds and refreshments on selected holes, provided by Cool Cat Caf and Johnson Brothers. so bring your appetite and golf skills.”
A hole in one will win a brand new car sponsored by Jim Falk’s Valley Isle Motors. The public is invited to come join in the fun.
