WEST MAUI – The public can still sign up to attend one of the three meetings this month sponsored by the Maui Arts League, according to Sara Foley, one of the organizers.

In addition to learning more about the new Maui Arts League, attendees can hear about a proposed fine arts museum to be situated in West Maui and share their comments and suggestions.

Maui Arts League President Lois Reiswig, an event coordinator for the highly successful Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational, and Jean Stern, art authority and executive director of the Irvine Museum in California, will lead the meetings.

The meetings will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at three West Maui locations: the West Maui Senior Center on Nov. 10; the Royal Lahaina Resort’s main ballroom on Nov. 11; and Maui Preparatory Academy’s dining hall on Nov. 12.
