Jennifer Loftus will lead “Timeless Fitness for the Body & Mind” on Aug. 27 at the West Maui Senior Center.

LAHAINA – Register now for an Ageless Grace workshop, “Timeless Fitness for the Body & Mind,” with instructor Jennifer Loftus on Thursday, Aug. 27, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the West Maui Senior Center

Ageless Grace consists of 21 simple exercise tools designed for all abilities. The movement sequences focus on the healthy longevity of the body, mind, emotions and spirit.

All of the exercises are designed to be practiced in a chair, and they consist of movements that are natural and organic – there’s no need to learn any special choreography.

Each of the 21 Tools focuses on different anti-aging techniques: joint mobility, spinal flexibility, right-left brain coordination, cognitive function, systemic stimulation, balance confidence and playfulness.

The music is fun and inspiring! Come exercise, laugh and play! Those 55 and better can call 270-4310 to register; the deadline is Aug. 24.

Kaunoa Senior Services’ West Maui Senior Center, located at 788 Pauoa St. along Lahainaluna Road, is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The center is open to lifelong learners 55 and over. A variety of classes are offered, from fitness and exercise, art and technology, to health and wellness.

Class fees range from a $2 donation to session fees. Visit the center and pick up the monthly newsletter (“The Best Years”) or call 270-4310 to register.
