Rummage sale set at Keokea Marketplace
KULA – An inaugural gigantic rummage sale on Saturday, July 18, headlines a series of Upcountry homestead events, including a teriyaki plate lunch sale, and Sunday and weekday open markets.
The rummage event will unfold from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Keokea Marketplace at Kula Highway Mile Marker 17, two-tenths-of-a-mile past Grandma’s Coffee House.
This inaugural sale will offer rummage ranging from clothing, kitchenware and linens, to books, toys and tools. Proceeds will benefit the host nonprofit Keokea Homestead Farm Lots Association.
Also during the rummage fair, homesteaders will offer their “world famous” teriyaki plate lunch. Pre-sale $8 tickets are available by contacting association Treasurer Karen Park at (808) 870-3220 or email@example.com. Plate lunch pickup will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 18 at Keokea Marketplace.
And, starting July 20, a weekday Keokea Homestead Open Market will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Keokea Marketplace. This new weekday market will specialize in fresh, homemade juices and salads along with produce, plants, arts and crafts.
