Transit Rider Education Forum set
WAILUKU – All riders of public transportation are invited to participate in the Maui Public Transit Rider Education Forum on Tuesday, June 30, at the MEO Family Center at 99 Mahalani St. in Wailuku from 1 to 4 p.m.
The purpose of the forum – sponsored by the County of Maui Department of Transportation, Paratransit Advisory Council and Maui Economic Opportunity Inc. – is to provide information about the different types of transportation available, eligibility requirements and riders’ rules, rights and responsibilities.
Presenters will include MEO Transportation, Roberts Hawaii, the State of Hawaii Disability and Communication Access Board, and the county Office on Aging and Department of Transportation.
