LAHAINA – Getting it done in the classroom with as much dedication as she puts into her tennis game, Kaila Nip of Lahaina has been recognized for scholastic achievement with a second straight selection to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District 8 At-Large Team.

Nip, a valedictorian in the Lahainaluna High School Class of 2011, as a college senior maintained a 3.88 cumulative grade point average while studying biology and competing in women’s tennis at Linfield College.
