LAHAINA – The Rotary Club of Lahaina is celebrating its 50th anniversary of community service to West Maui and beyond.
The club’s service projects over the past five decades have been as diverse as the renewal of Lahaina Public Library to Maui Food Bank drives, and from litter cleanup projects to the ongoing annual scholarships that have helped students from Lahainaluna High School and Maui Preparatory Academy, as well as Lanai and Molokai, achieve their college dream.
A special Maui Theatre event has been planned for Friday, June 19, 2015 to honor the occasion.
In cooperation with the “Elvis in Hawaii” Darren Lee show and Iron Imu Catering, the Rotary Club of Lahaina is excited to announce a special buffet dinner and show for the kama’aina rate of $50 per person.
This is truly a collaboration of businesses and a service organization working together to create an unforgettable event for our community.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the “Burn’n Love” box office at (808) 856-7900 and asking for the “ROTARY50” rate for the June 19 show. You will be required to show a Hawaii ID at the door to receive this rate.
Although it’s hard to imagine anyone passing up an Iron Imu buffet, residents may also purchase a “show only” ticket for $25 by asking for the “ROTARY25” rate.
Rotary Club of Lahaina members are proud to serve their West Side neighbors, and they look forward to 50 more years of service. And, as always, a portion of the event proceeds will be put right back into the community.
