Sacred Hearts School students outperform the nation in test results
LAHAINA – Terranova test results are in, and Sacred Hearts School students performed well above the national average across all grades testing and on every subject tested.
Last week, the school published those results and announced the Honor Roll for the second quarter.
Students who made the Principals’ List with a 4.0 grade point average are Jolie Jenkins, Isabella Lallo, Grace Devane, Venus Schlauch, Jake Devane, Lexi Cowan and Christopher Mueller.
Students who earned First Honors with a 3.5 to 3.9 GPA are Joane Cardona, Dakota DeLos Reyes, Stephanie Han, Mei Lei Wegner, Ken Alba, Makena Cowan, Neysha Fuentes, Aliya Harmon, Kristel Layugan, Ariana Pacleb, Breana Wallace, Gabrielle Huliganga, Dawson Doan, Sydney McCarney, Jacqueline Nguyen, Trisha Vann, Aiden Brown, Victoria Campbell, Paris Doan, Patrick Doan, Lily Hill, Delaney McLaughlin, Leila Ocegueda, Cash Palma and Tim Smith.
Students who earned Second Honors with a 3.0 to 3.4 GPA are Hokulea Garcia, Teisa Vehikite, Tyler Kirby, Landen McLaughlin, Hannah Sheveland, Sophia Sobel, Blaise Brath, Elena Hickey, David Hirschon, AnaPaula Rodriquez, Noelle Sheveland, Kiana Tuttle, Lucy Donlon, Anysis Fuentes, James Johnson, Caden Wheeler, Kapua Coon, Madison Becker and Jack Haney.

On Monday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon, Sacred Hearts School will host an open house for keiki heading to kindergarten in the 2015-16 school year.
A drawing will be held for a $500 tuition award for new Sacred Hearts School families (a parent must be present to participate). Register for the drawing by sending an e-mail to openhouseSHS@gmail.com.
A free, healthy lunch will be provided by Penne Pasta Cafe, Sacred Hearts School’s school lunch provider.
Preschoolers will get a chance to be kindergarteners for a day. Parents will witness, firsthand, just what makes this school so special.
