Individual or team (four or more persons) categories are available in the Wiki Wiki 5K & 10K Fun Run/Walk.

LAHAINA – The fourth annual Wiki Wiki 5K & 10K Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for 7 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, with race day registration starting at 6 a.m.

Both race distances will start and finish at Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center and follow an off-road course up on the old sugar cane haul road in Lahaina.

Runners and walkers of all skill levels are invited to participate in the 5K (runners only in the 10K). Individual or team (four or more persons) categories are available, and costumes are also welcome.

Registration may be completed at The Vitamin Shoppe on Oct. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at discounted rates. Race day registration will also be accepted.

The event features prizes for the top three male and female finishers in both distances, as well as top-finishing teams in both distances. Team members also qualify for individual awards.

All participants and event volunteers will receive a goodie bag, event T-shirt or cap, and entry into the door-prize drawings. Goodie bag items and prizes have been donated by local retail merchants, non-profits, restaurants, and service-providers, as well as merchants from afar.
