LAHAINA – Join the crowd on the Baldwin Home lawn at the corner of Dickenson and Front streets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, for another free Hawaiian Music Series concert as the sun descends over the horizon.

Josh Kahula, lead singer of one of Maui’s most popular bands, Nuff Sedd, will perform on guitar.

This accomplished musician has composed and arranged most of the songs on Nuff Sedd’s records. The band’s cutting-edge sound combines music influences from ska and reggae to funk and R&B, and incorporates classic rock, alternative and pop sounds.

Nuff Sedd’s debut album was recognized at the 2005 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Reggae Album of the Year and won several Hawaii Music Awards, including Group of the Year and Song of the Year for the hit single, “Cherry Bomb.”

In 2011, Nuff Sedd released a new album, “Life… in a Song,” to rave reviews. The record’s first single, “Bits & Pieces,” dominated airwaves across the state.

As a Hawaiian music soloist, Kahula has played with Keali’i Reichel and many other talented Hawaiian artists.

Relax under the stars and enjoy the concert brought to you by Lahaina Restoration Foundation.

The combination of great live Hawaiian music, award-winning restaurants and shops make this program a great setting for a perfect evening out on the town.

Chairs are limited, so blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome.

The Baldwin Home Museum is located in the heart of Lahaina on the corner of Front and Dickenson streets.

This concert is part of the foundation’s ongoing Hawaiian Music Series program supported by the Hawaii Tourism Authority and county Office of Economic Development.
