Celine Munoz receives Washington State University President’s Award
LAHAINA – At a ceremony for Leadership and Engagement Awards of Distinction 2014 at the Pullman Campus of Washington State University, 2010 Lahainaluna High School graduate Celine Munoz received the WSU President’s Award.
Since 1996, the President’s Award has been an honor bestowed annually to students and others who advance leadership and engagement at WSU.
Recipients of this prestigious award demonstrate exceptional leadership and service to the university and the community and/or support leadership development and engagement of WSU students.
In a letter of support, one wrote that Munoz “continues to be a dependable and responsible leader that her fellow students view as a role model and a friend”
At the time, she served as secretary for both the Council of Multicultural Student Presidents and ASWSU Committee Squared.
A student in the Honors College at WSU since graduating from Lahainaluna High School, Celine has since graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Pre-Pharmacy).
She will be starting her post-graduate work at the Washington State University College of Pharmacy in Spokane next semester.
Celine is also qualified as a Certified Pharmacy Technician under the auspices of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
