LAHAINA – Lahaina Restoration Foundation will host its 51st Annual Breakfast Meeting on Saturday, April 26, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Old Lahaina Prison.

The meeting is open to the public; the $20 fee is all-inclusive.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by a mouthwatering breakfast buffet catered by CJ’s Deli. Menu items include gourmet sausages, Eggs Benedict Florentine, Hawaiian-style pancakes with coconut syrup and macadamia nuts, MauiGrown coffee and more.

Following breakfast, there will be a short business meeting led by LRF President David Allaire, presentation of scholarships, a look at the foundation’s 2013 accomplishments, and an update on upcoming projects and goals set for 2014 with Executive Director Theo Morrison.

The foundation will award $35,000 in scholarships to Lahainaluna High School seniors and alumni. The awards are based on essays the students wrote about the importance of preserving Lahaina’s history.

Parking will be available at Lahaina Hongwanji Mission, 551 Wainee Street, as well as Front and Prison streets. Seats are limited; reservations and payment in advance are required.

Call the Lahaina Restoration Foundation office at 661-3262 to reserve your seat.
