Joanne Laird reads aloud to children at a recent Barnes and Noble Story Time.

LAHAINA – Joanne Laird, program director for the Read Aloud America Program (RAP), will present a March Keiki Story Time at Barnes and Noble in Lahaina Gateway Center on Sunday, March 16, at 2 p.m.

This 30-minute event is geared for children ages pre-kindergarten through second grade.

The story time will feature readings from St. Patrick’s Day and March-themed children’s picture books. There will be healthy snacks provided by Barnes and Noble.

At the conclusion of the read-aloud session, each child will receive a door prize from Read Aloud America and will be able to select a new book from Barnes and Noble to take home. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
