KAANAPALI – Duke’s Beach House recently recognized Cheryl Bularon, Lori Kaufman and Lora-Lea LaMarre of Princess Nahi’ena’ena Elementary School as “Staff Members of the Month” for October, November and December, respectively.

The three educators were selected by their peers based on their outstanding performance and commitment to the school and its students.

Bularon, an education assistant, was nominated for being a proactive advocate of students and for her commitment to helping students meet their Individualized Education Program goals.

Third grade teacher Kaufman, a PTA staff representative, involves the PTA in daily school activities and coordinates evening student programs. She also volunteers her time in extra off-hours programs, such as the Na Mele O Maui singing contest.

LaMarre, a curriculum coordinator, was selected for being an inspiring leader and for providing invaluable teacher support.

“We are so proud to be able to honor these staff members at Princess Nahi’ena’ena Elementary School,” said Wayne Mokiao, human resources coordinator of Duke’s Beach House.

“Educators play an important role in shaping our keiki’s future and should be recognized for their work.”

All three educators were presented with an engraved koa box and a $100 gift certificate to Duke’s Beach House.
