Mayor to speak at LahainaTown Action Committee Annual Meeting

Mayor Alan M. Arakawa will speak at LahainaTown Action Committee’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Pioneer Inn Courtyard at 5 p.m.
LAHAINA – LahainaTown Action Committee will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The public is invited to gather at the Pioneer Inn Courtyard at 5 p.m.
Light pupus will be offered with refreshments, and a no-host open bar will be available. The guest speaker will be Mayor Alan M. Arakawa.
LahainaTown Action Committee invites West Side residents to come meet the LAC board members.
LAC aims to promote, encourage and preserve the historical, cultural, social and commercial vitality of Lahaina, the town and destination.
The nonprofit organization hosts Lahaina festivals and ongoing events, and operates the Lahaina Visitor Center in the Old Lahaina Courthouse.
LahainaTown Action Committee would like to meet the public and discuss ideas for the 2014-15 calendar.
At 5:15 p.m., LAC President Sne Patel will speak, followed by Mayor Arakawa at 5:30 p.m., then election of board members.
