Meeting set for Project Graduation
LAHAINA – Project Graduation is a drug- and alcohol-free party for graduating Lahainaluna High School seniors immediately following the graduation ceremony.
Participating seniors will gather at Lahaina Intermediate School to be transported to specifically selected sites for an unforgettable night of FUN! All plans – including locations, activities and events – are kept secret until the attendees actually get to the venues.
This is the last party the Class of 2014 will attend together. The party lasts all night, and come dawn, they will meet their parents for pickup back at Lahaina Intermediate School.
Project Graduation is truly a memorable event for graduating seniors, planned for safety, security and fun while being well-chaperoned by parents, alumni and other adult volunteers. In order to make this event a success, it takes parents to help with the planning. Parents of juniors are especially needed.
“We need your ideas, and input, so please consider being a committee member this year and join us for a planning meeting,” noted the Lahainaluna PTSA.
The meeting is set for Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Lahaina Cannery Mall Food Court.
