WAILEA – SHRM Hawaii, Maui Educational Foundation will host a “Leadership Island-style” workshop on Friday, Dec. 13, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Grand Wailea Resort.

The workshop will be led by Glenn Furuya, founder, president and CEO of Leadership Works.

Furuya will share lessons about our unique island culture and business environment, and how to build and sustain extraordinary leadership, teamwork and service, island-style.

The workshop is designed for all levels of employees, particularly those needing to enhance their leadership, boost teamwork within their organization or improve customer service, whether internal or external.

This workshop also provides a unique perspective for anyone seeking to understand and bridge the behavioral and cultural differences that exist among each other and within our communities.

SHRM members pay $20, and nonmembers $35, payable by check or cash at the door. A Pau Hana Reception with pupus and a no-host bar will follow the workshop.

Register online at www.shrmhawaii.org before Friday, Dec. 6. For more information, contact Mandy Wolfe at mwoulfe@honuakai.com.
