Advisors to explain college options

LAHAINA – Have you considered earning a bachelor’s degree but aren’t sure where to start?

Nancy Ooki from The University Center, Maui will hold a workshop to discuss bachelor’s and master’s degree opportunities at the Lahaina Education Center on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

The focus is on preparing students of all levels, from recent graduates to adults returning to school.

University Center degree programs currently available include the MS in Human Resource Management, an Executive MBA Degree, Post-Bacculareate Certificates in Education and Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Justice Administration, Psychology, Nursing, Disaster Preparedness and Health Care Administration.

Ooki will be at the center from 1 to 6 p.m. At that same time, U.H. Maui College Academic Advisor Kulamanu Ishihara will be available to meet with West Maui residents who are interested in pursuing a degree with U.H. Maui College in any program.
