“We are winning the reputation of putting on the best danceable events in West Maui,” said Liz May.
KAANAPALI – Residents and visitors can still purchase tickets for the fourth annual Rotary Club of Lahaina “Savor the Sunset” benefit on July 19 to enjoy wine, song and prizes in the form of valuable auction items.
The 6 p.m. event at the Royal Lahaina Resort will begin with a wine tasting by Young’s Market Company of Hawaii and silent auction, followed by gourmet Italian food at appetizer and pasta action stations, a fashion show by Passion 4 Fashion Boutique and dance music on the Ocean Lawn by Deejay Serna.
“We have extended ‘Savor the Sunset’ to 10 p.m., so that there will be more time to dance,” event Chair Liz May noted.
May pointed out that a preview of what “Savor the Sunset” is like can be seen on YouTube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIp7MigzwLQ).
Auction items include resorts stays, rounds of golf, sunset cruises, shows, luaus, restaurant certificates, parasailing and zip-lining.
