‘I Love Lahaina’ to benefit six West Maui schools

LAHAINA – “I Love Lahaina,” a fundraiser to benefit all six schools in West Maui, is returning to Lahaina Cannery Mall.

This family-friendly community event will feature games, face painting, food booths, pony rides and a bouncy castle.

Enjoy live entertainment from Kapena, Uluwehi Guerrero, and Nuff Sedd, as well as music performances and art displays from the students themselves.

Bid on exciting experiences and items from local restaurants, activity providers and merchants at the silent and live auctions.

Activities are scheduled on Friday, May 3, from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“I Love Lahaina” will feature live entertainment from Kapena (above), Uluwehi Guerrero, and Nuff Sedd, as well as music by West Maui students.

All funds raised will be donated to Sacred Hearts, Maui Preparatory Academy, King Kamehameha III, Princess Nahi’ena’ena Elementary, Lahaina Intermediate and Lahainaluna High School to help ensure a quality education for their students.

Lahaina Cannery Mall will still feature its regular free hula performances on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Featuring more than 50 shops and restaurants, Lahaina Cannery Mall is located on the north end of Lahaina Town fronting Honoapiilani Highway and Front Street.
