From left, Mihana, Nalu and Tepua Ho look forward to the arrival of the Christmas trees.
LAHAINA – Fresh noble fir Christmas trees and wreaths are on sale in the Lahaina Cannery Mall parking lot.
The trees, kept fresh in a refrigerated container, are being sold by the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise. Weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekday hours are 3 to 6 p.m.
All funds raised will be used for community projects in Lahaina. Six-foot trees sell for $75, three- to four-foot trees are $50 and wreaths are $25.
Donations are also welcome to fund trees to be donated to needy families selected by Women Helping Women. Donations can be made for the full or partial amount of the tree. All donations are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
