Dinner to benefit MEDB Ke Alahele Education Fund

KIHEI – On Saturday, Aug. 18, Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB) will celebrate its 30th anniversary during the annual MEDB Ke Alahele Education Fund Benefit Dinner & Auction.
Slated at the Grand Wailea Resort on Saturday, Aug. 18, guests will enjoy the popular Apples for Education Auctions, second annual Robotics Challenge and a memorable dinner program featuring special presentations by past grantees and Distinguished Educators U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye and Mayor Alan Arakawa.
The reception and silent auction begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds benefit MEDB’s continued efforts to engage thousands of our island’s residents, involve more of our local businesses, and empower thousands more of our youth in building pathways to our future – a strong, sustainable and diversified economy for Maui County.
