Talk story with West Maui lawmakers
LAHAINA – Fifth District Sen. Rosalyn Baker and Tenth District Rep. Angus McKelvey will hold a Legislative Town Hall Meeting on Monday, Feb. 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the West Maui Senior Center at 788 Pauoa St. in Lahaina.
“The meeting will give us an opportunity to update the community about legislation being considered at the State Capitol,” said Sen. Baker.
“It is allows us to gather ideas, input or concerns,” continued Rep. McKelvey.
“We look forward to listening and talking story with our neighbors,” concluded Baker.
“These sessions bring us back to the community to work with and stay in touch with our community,” added McKelvey.
The meeting takes place during the constitutionally mandated five-day recess for legislators to report back to their constituents on pending legislation for 2012, receive comments and answer questions.
