Celebrate Second Friday in Lahaina

By Staff | Jan 12, 2012

LAHAINA – “Front Street-Great Street” is the theme for January’s Second Friday in Lahaina. This month’s town party commemorates the selection of Front Street as one of the “Ten Great Streets in America” for 2011 by the American Planning Association.

Lahaina was selected for its diverse architectural styles, community involvement, vibrant shopping, art and dining scene, picture-perfect views and rich history. This is the first time a location in Hawaii has been selected for this honor.

With the streets of Lahaina adorned with fresh flowers in commemorative celebration of Front Street and Second Friday festivities, the merchants and restaurants of Lahaina will proudly offer entertainment and specials.

Hard Rock Cafe will have a Patio Party with a beer garden, live music by Evan Shulman from 6 to 9 p.m. (no cover) and 15 percent off on food only.
