West Maui lawmakers to host Town Hall Meeting
LAHAINA – West and South Maui Sen. Rosalyn Baker and Rep. Angus McKelvey will hold a Legislative Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
Open to the public, the meeting is set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the West Maui Senior Center at 788 Pauoa St. along Lahainaluna Road.
“The meeting will give us an opportunity to update the community on various projects funded by the legislature,” noted Sen. Baker.
“It is also an opportunity for us to gather ideas, input or concerns as we prepare for the 2012 Legislative Session,” continued Rep. McKelvey.
“We look forward to listening and talking story with our neighbors,” concluded Baker.
“These sessions help us stay in touch,” added Rep. McKelvey.

Senator Baker (D) chairs the Senate Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee, and McKelvey (D) chairs the House Economic Revitalization and Business Committee.
The 2012 session of the Hawaii State Legislature will convene at 10 a.m. on Jan. 18, 2012.
