Schools of the Future Speaker Series continues Feb. 23
NAPILI — Maui Preparatory Academy invites the public to attend the second event in its Schools of the Future Speaker Series on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 8 a.m. in the school’s dining hall.
This series connects students and teachers with experts and community leaders in a variety of fields to discuss the changing global culture and economy in the 21st century.
Central to the discussions are two questions: “What skills will best prepare today’s students to meet the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow?” and “How can teachers and schools create a dynamic curriculum that remains current and relevant to the world outside of school?”
The topic for this week’s forum is International/Intercultural Global Business. Professionals who will share their expertise in the field are Paula Lair, most recently director of new business development for a Hawaii-based, NYSE-traded company; Krishna Narayan, president and founder of NSC Partners, a software research and development company; and Anthony Caputo, CEO of C Enterprise Incorporated, a company that invests in and grows technology businesses.
Maui Prep thanks the Hawaii Community Foundation for funding the Schools of the Future initiative and to the speakers for sharing their knowledge and expertise with our community.
