Deadline approaching for LHS Foundation’s brick paver program

Work is under way on the “Imu” field.
LAHAINA — The Lahainaluna High School Foundation’s “Ke Ala O Na Po‘okela (Path of Champions)” brick paver program has generated over $25,000 in support for the stadium project called “Re-do the Imu!”
The first phase of the project — which includes the installation of a new track and athletic field, scoreboard, flagpoles and fencing — is currently underway and scheduled for completion at the end of May.
A temporary Path of Champions is being created at the Kaanapali end of the new track, and anyone who has already purchased a brick, or orders one prior to May 31, will be able to see it when the area is unveiled at this year’s “Fire up da Imu” preseason party on Aug. 14. Orders received after May 31 will be installed at a later date.
The pavers are personalized, decorative bricks that provide an affordable — but permanent — legacy of your support for Lahainaluna.
The pavers are available in three sizes: 4”x 8”, 8”x 8”, and 16”x16”; prices run $150, $500 and $1,000, respectively.

The paver area will be created between the new track and athletic field.
Pavers make an excellent remembrance, birthday or graduation gift.
Order forms can be downloaded from the foundation’s website at www.lahainalunahighschoolfoundation.com, or call the office at 661-5332.
