LAHAINA — A public information meeting on the West Maui Recycling and Redemption Center will be held Wednesday, May 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the West Maui Senior Center.

The proposed site for the center is the intersection of Front Street, Ala Moana Street and the Mala Wharf approach road between the existing wastewater pump station and Puupihi Cemetery.

The center will house several large roll-off containers to collect recyclable items, including a redemption center for the HI5 beverage container collection program.
