WAILUKU — As part of the ongoing effort to provide the communities of Maui with relief and support, the Teran James Young Foundation will host the “Rally Around Peace” benefit concert and event on Sept. 23, 2023 at the Imua Discovery Garden in Wailuku.
This community-wide event will feature live music from local artists such as Marty Dread, Elijay Ray, Leiohu Ryder and Arlie Asiu. There will also be food, wellness tents, an open space peace summit, and more!
This event is meant to bring individuals, organizations and community leaders together to promote peace and sustainability in Maui while raising money to support Maui wildfire relief and reconstruction efforts after the devastating fires in August.
Tickets are now available at $10 a person (free for those ages 17 and under), with all admission and event proceeds to be donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation Maui Strong Fund.
Genesis Scott Young, co-founder of the Teran James Young Foundation, said, “By attending this event, your presence and support sends a powerful message about the spirit of resilience and compassion that runs strong in Maui. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage everybody to invite their friends and ‘ohana and spread the word far and wide. Let’s come together in healing and recovery for our beloved island.”
